These works examine how memory connects with material form. Using the saaloni, a traditional Assamese bamboo winnowing tray, as a base, a cotton warp is applied to build each piece upon its original woven structure. By reworking this familiar household object, the practice brings it into the present, reflecting on patterns of inheritance, domestic labor, and the tactile language of everyday materials.
